Hello there, friends and enemies. This past week it was my cousin’s fifth birthday, and we celebrated that with food, gifts and a dinosaur cheesecake. All of which were great, and the little dinosaur eggs were made out of chocolate covered almonds, which made yours truly very happy, even though the birthday does not like almonds. Is that even a sentence I can write on here? Though, he did give me one of his, which I appreciate.
Hey there, friends and enemies. This past Sunday, it was Mother’s day in Sweden, and that meant a family gathering at my mum’s house. I took some pictures of the food, and then some at a tree outside. I also took a selfie, which you can see on my Instagram, along with a bunch of other pictures that I’ve posted there lately.
One of two bags of Raspberry potpourri that I bought.
One of the many scented candles that I bought, this one is Blackberry scented.
A little Owl friends, along with some Apple scented tea candles.
And last but not least, a new wineglass, I don’t drink wine, I just really prefer to drink my carbonated water out of glasses that have a foot.
Hello, friends and enemies, a few weeks ago I went to IKEA, and these are some of the things that I bought, and ate. I was gonna post this earlier, but since I’m terrible, that did not happen. But better late than never, am I right?! Ahh, I really do need to stop procrastinating, don’t I? Maybe then I’ll actually achieve my goals and dreams? Who knows.
Hello, friends and enemies. Today, my dad and I went on a little unplanned roadtrip. Don’t worry, it’s not as adventurous as it sounds. My grandparents had been out on an adventure on their own, buying some flowers and plants from some different shops, fairly far away from our town, and then they had some problems with their car, and called my dad for help. My dad and I had plans for today, so he called me to ask if I wanted to come with him, and I said yes. It turned into a whole-day-thing, and I took lots of pictures. There is even a part two coming your way tomorrow. We ate at Burger King and I drank a bunch of coffee. I also uploaded two photos on Instagram, and I think there is a third post flying up in a while soon, too!
Hi, friends! Last week, my uncle, his girlfriend and his new born son came down to visit. My uncle lives a lot further up in the country, so we don’t get to see him that often. He had a son right after Christmas, so it was fun to see him for the first time.
Hello my dear friends of the Interwebs! Today (or tonight) I am posting the photos from my sister’s second birthday this year. It was at our mum’s house, with our relatives on that side of the tree. I did remember to bring my gifts for her this time, and I gave her a silver necklace, an EOS gift set, and an Emoji keyring. I bought her the one that makes the kissy face and I bought the poop emoji for myself, which now houses all my keys and it’s pretty damn great.
I actually the biggest fan of the cake my mum made, and I ate one layer of it. It had a mango cream thing, which together with the sponge cake reminded me too much of a sandwich cake for some weird reason. Though, sandwich cake is genuinely one of my favourit main dishes to eat, it didn’t work here, and I struggle a lot with the texture of berries in general, and I am probably one of the only people on this earth that doesn’t like them. I like Cherries, though.
But the party was fun, and it’s always fun to see my relatives, but right now I am going to make myself some sleepy time tea, and browse the web in my bed. Almond out!
Hello, friends! Today it’s time for the photos from my sister’s first birthday party this past weekend. It was at my stepdad’s – her dad’s – house. I was going to give her her gift at this birthday party since it was on her actual birthday, but Miss Smarty Pants over here forgot it at home when they left to get in their dad’s car earlier in the day. My sister got to go get her nails done as one of her gifts, which you know I’m a little jelly off, though I got a UV-lamp with gel supplies for Christmas, and I’m slowly learning how to do my own nails.
But, the birthday party was fun, there was food, and dessert, which included a pastry decorated with a penis. The pastry is just a big chocolate bar wrapped in puff pastry dough that then goes in the oven for a while, and it’s AMAZING. We’ve had it before at my mum’s house, and it so good I keep thinking about making one for myself.
But I should probably wrap this post up before I start drooling thinking about dessert, ’cause we all know that might actually happen. Until next time; Almond out.
Hello, friends! Today is yet another day on this planet that we call Earth, and I spent it drinking coffee. Surprising, I know. I never drink coffee…. *cough* But, I did also eat some ice cream along with my coffee, and it was a great culinary experience if I’m being honest. I also bought a new little wallet, and a candle holder which is at this very moment, sitting on a windowsill next to my bed being cute.
Right now I am thinking about what kind of bag I should make out of these fabrics that I bought yesterday, I’m thinking it’s going to be another camera bag, but I am not 100% sure yet. I’ll keep you updated, though, see ya!
Heyyo, party people! Here I am on this fine Friday evening, talking to you about the past week in my life. On Friday, the one a week ago, I filmed and uploaded a What’s In My Bag video, like I’ve said I was going to do at LEAST forty eleven times, just this past year alone. But I finally did it, and now you can find out what I keep with me at all times. Not as much stuff as I did when I was younger, I say youngER, since I have yet to turn 20 and is still young in most people’s eyes. But seriously, you should’ve seen me when I was 14/15/16. I basically carried a suitcase to school. No joke. But do try to keep my daily carries as minimal as my lil hoarder soul can bear.
But other than that, this week has mostly consisted of drinking coffee in various places, as every week in my life if I’m honest. But you knew that, didn’t you? I did also go shopping this Tuesday, it’s my sister’s 13th Birthday tomorrow, can you believe that? My tiny baby sister is becoming a teenager. I felt like I just turned 13, but that was almost seven years ago. Geez. But since it’s her birthday tomorrow, I am attending two birthday parties this weekend. Well, two and a half, if I’m being picky, which I am. I’m seeing my family on my dad’s side for a bit earlier in the day tomorrow for as long as I can stay before I have to leave, and we’re having a mini-celebration of my grandfather, who’s birthday is next week.
But other than that, this week has mostly consisted of me being anxious and upset about my nails not being done properly, and therefore compulsively picking on them. It’s a pretty long story, really, you don’t want to hear about it, it’s kind of boring, too, so I’m saving you from that.
That was all from your pal Almond today, and I’ll see you next week, bye!
